Don't lose your memories on your hard drive

Updated: Feb 14, 2020

When was the last time you sat down to view all those photos on your computer? When was the last time people visiting your home looked at your computer or thumb drive on your drawer and said "WOW those photos are amazing! who did you use for photographer?"

Sounds familiar?

There is no better than feeling your photo memories on your hands and viewing a beautiful piece of wall artwork done with some of your favourite photos from those special milestones of your life with your loved ones.

These days technology moves so fast! For those of us born in the 70s and 80s you probably are stuck with a great collection of video tapes VHS and Betamax! Now even 90s and new millennium generations are stuck with CDs, DVDs and USB drives. These are been discarded from new computers and most electronic devices today.

Your photos these days are likely in JPEG files on your computer and smartphone. But in the next 20 -30 years... who knows what it would be?

Ahh?

Yes, it's all possible. You could lose your memories and get stuck with your digital files.

Not long ago photographers provided photos in CDs. If you have been in the market recently for a new computer, how many of them even have a CD drive? Digital photos are made of 1s and 0s and can corrupt any time or you could have a computer failure and lose it all without warning...

I am not sure about you but, my most precious possession are my photos, all other material things can be replaced in the event you lose then. When it comes to photos, those moments are gone and you cannot recreate them. You and your family will never be that age again and you will probably never be in those places again with the same company.

Also, we are now on the selfie era and your photos are in social media or the cloud. These won't matter in 30 years from now and you may fail to pass the memories for the next generation. Your online accounts are not passed to next generations. Prints are!

Don't get me wrong. I am not against digital files, they are easy to share with family and friends. However we need to understand their limitation and risk.

On the other hand, paper prints have proven to be long lasting for generations. Prints today can last for a long time and be cherished for many decades to come, our Lustre prints can last on indoors display for 100 years before you notice any colour fading, metallic prints can last even longer.

The point is, hiring a photographer who hands you a bunch of digital images and sends you on your way is only doing half the job. The job is to provide you artwork of your family that will last generations.

That's why we have taken the time to partner with some of the best print labs around the country to create custom wall art, albums, mounted prints and more. Our pieces are all archival quality and guaranteed.

We are here to create family heirlooms and can help you design your wall gallery with our drag and drop projection system. Yes, we can photograph your home walls and virtually drag on our system your images on them. So, you can preview how your artwork pieces will look on your own wall before you even order them!

We do offer our photography packages with digital images only as starting point. However, we strive to provide you with beautiful wall artwork and prints that are from a proffessional lab and much superior quality than those on your supermarket and drugstore. So, you don't walk away with digital files only (unless that is what you want).

We are so excited to meet you and your family and make artwork for you that will last for generations.
